Hi,
I’m currently trying to get throught the UPnP/DLNA possibilities in KDE and I saw that your cagibi was used from KDE > 4.5 on for service discovery. 4.5 is already long time ago and somehow i have the feeling nothing substential happened in the KDE worl about UPnP anymore…really sad!
Is your cagibi still maintained and developed? Wouldn’t it be better to have it replaced by some other project if not? I really think KDE needs a base layer providing UPnP/DLNA forother applications. I wanna browse my Media servers with KDE and I want to play music, videos and pictures to other devices, from lets say Amarok.
I would appreciate if you could write me about the current status of cagebi and its integration into KDE!
